Associate Attorney

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years' experience in estate planning, probate, and closely held entities to assist in drafting advanced estate plans, business re-structuring and transactional work. Some exposure to oil and gas issues a plus.
  • Must be a non-smoker. Must be proficient in WordPerfect, Excel, Word, Practicemaster and Tabs. Other software proficiencies a plus..

Litigation Paralegal

Requirements:

  • Litigation paralegal with 3-5 years experience in heavy volume of civil litigation. 
  • Fiduciary litigation experience a plus.  
  • Experience with wills and trusts, real estate transactions, business formation, probate administration and litigation, and marital property.
  • Must be highly professional and able to interface with high net worth clients.
  • Business professional environment

Software Requirements:

  • Word Perfect
  • Microsoft Office
  • Excel
  • Practicemaster and Tabs

Education:

  • Bachelors degree preferred but not required Paralegal certificate

Accounting Paralegal

Duties and Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of estate and trust tax experience
  • Must be proficient with Excel; Accurate and timely preparation of guardianship accountings and filing of estate and gift tax returns and inventories for decedents, including the gathering of all necessary information in the most effective and efficient manner possible. Some individual and fiduciary tax background. Experience with all aspects of estate settlement process a plus. Must be highly professional and able to interface with high net worth clients.

  • QuickBooks
  • Estate Practice Systems (IRS forms 706 & 709)
  • Fast-Tax (U.S. 706)
  • Excel
  • Microsoft Office
  • WordPerfect
  • Practicemaster and Tabs

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting preferred, but not required Paralegal certificate

Estate Planning and Probate Paralegal

Requirements are:

  • 3-5 years' estate planning and probate experience with advanced estate planning documents, business agreements, probate and guardianship filings, with preparation of Estate Tax Returns/Form 706, inventories and accountings a plus (but not required.) Litigation experience is also a plus. 
  • Must be motivated to work independently, learn quickly, and have a polished appearance. Must be a non-smoker. Must be comfortable working with high net worth individuals. Must be proficient in WordPerfect, Excel, Word, Practicemaster and Tabs. Other software proficiencies a plus.
